The CEO with an eye for the people

A year has passed since Florim Mustafa took on his jacket, drove towards Åseda and stepped in through the door as new CEO at Spaljisten. Then he had sky-high expectations of himself but how does he feel now that a year has passed?

- It's been a very rewarding year where I've learned a lot. We have had both ups and downs during the year that we have handled in the best possible way together. The most fun thing about my job is all the dialogues with the employees, the everyday conversations are so important, every day we develop the company in the right direction!

It was with great humility that he assumed the role of CEO, the furniture industry was a completly new area to Florim, who has a background in automotive, X-ray and logistics / communications. During the past year, Florim has had great support from both Niklas Lundin, CEO of Anebyhusgruppen AB and the owner as well as Chairman of the Board Johan Enocsson, who both previously held the CEO role at Spaljisten, something he is very grateful for.

Has something special fun happened during the past year?

- Above all, we are proud to receive the "Show the Road" award in the Öland region, which is awarded by Samhall. It is a prize that goes to employers who understand that it is more important to see what a person can do, rather than what they cannot. And of course, the fantastic confidence we have gained by getting a new framework agreement that will give us great opportunities for the future. Many years of hard work have made this possible. Am proud of everyone's efforts.

For Florim, the employees are really the backbone of the business, he appreciates the unique corporate culture that exists as a bit also suppliers as well as customers get to know. Together, we now continue our sustainability journey in 2020 and develop our work on the five goals we have chosen to work extra with from Agenda 2030.

What does success mean to you?

- Success for me is a sustainable Spaljisten in everything we do. I keep that in mind when we think of success witch is satisfied employees, customers and financially stable companies.

It will be exciting to see what we say in a year, but one thing we are sure is that it will be a fun and evolving year with us at Spaljisten.
