We care - Spaljistens Sustainability report 2019

Spaljisten now presents the sustainability report with the combined financial report for 2019. The Sustainability Report explains our development over the past year and clarifies how we work actively with sustainability in our operations.

– Spaljisten has placed the greatest focus on sustainability by integrating it as part of our vision which is - "Spaljisten is a world-class furniture front manufacturer with the next generation in mind".

The company takes responsibility for this by integrating economic, environmental and social aspects of the strategic and operational work with production and products. This covers the entire value chain for customers, suppliers and the company. Spaljisten has decided to work actively and focused on the goals: 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12 from AGENDA 2030. says Ermal Devce Sustainability Manager

Agenda 2030, which is the UN's sustainability goal, is a major basis for how we prioritize our efforts. We have chosen the following goals to focus on: 3. Good health and well-being,
5. Gender equality, 10. Reduced inequality, 7. Affordable and Clean Energy and 12. Responsible Consumption and Production. In the report you can follow how we worked with these in 2019.

Although we at Spaljisten should be able to show that we work actively with change work, the driving force is the internal motivation - to constantly improve. With full transparency, we give both managers and employees the opportunity to influence the improvement work within the company together.

Highlights for us in this year's report:

  1. 100% of all material is now FSC certified
  2. “Visa Vägen” (Lead the Way) prize that we won as this year's employer for our region
  3. Signed agreement for 100% renewable energy
  4. Our first product with 100% recycled foil
  5. Increased our sustainability index by 4% during the year
  6. The report will be available in digital form on all our platforms so that everyone will have the opportunity to access it.
