Start of Production on the HGL II line
Material test for a high-gloss L-profile front.
At the beginning of March, we reached the SOP milestone with Spaljisten’s new foil wrapping line HGL II from HOMAG.
SOP stands for Start of Production and means we can now use the machine independently, even when the machine supplier is not on site. It is a substantial milestone in the project since we can officially use the production line for manufacturing foiled fronts.
We started the project's next phase by launching foiling tests on a high-gloss L-profile front. We have now completed this by achieving the desired quality and are happy to deliver the first material samples to the customer!
The ongoing phase, Ramping up to 50%, includes trial runs of a mixture of products with 2D wrapping technology, such as an L-profile, a new product with a U-profile and several products with a J-pull. As a result, we will be able to manufacture larger fronts, offer more complicated solutions and expand our production of high-quality foiled products.
We look forward to utilizing the full capacity and capability the new line enables for Spaljisten!

Get to know the Spaljisten production - automated corrugated pallet line
Welcome in to our highly automated production facility! Since 2018, we have a corrugated pallet line for packing furniture fronts on corrugated pallets, i.e. extra light pallets made of corrugated cardboard. As is the standard in our production in Åseda - this process is of course automated.
