Press release: Spaljisten wins a significant order

Spaljisten has entered into a new frame agreement with one of the most significant players in the international furniture industry. The agreement is the largest in Spaljisten’s 45-year old history.

The agreement is for deliveries of foiled fronts to various storage systems, mainly for wardrobes, kitchen, bathroom and media furniture. The agreement begins in September 2021 and is long term.

Spaljisten is planning to make investments in excess of SEK 300 million during the next few years in order to fulfill both the frame agreement and their business plan. As a first step, the plant in Åseda will be increased from existing 35,000 m² to 41,400 m² and during the next 12-15 months new machines for foil wrapping, edge processing, internal logistics and packaging will be installed. The investments are necessary in order to both increase the capability and capacity of the factory.

“We are very proud and happy for the confidence and commitment our customer has shown us through this agreement. The agreement lays the foundation for a continued development of our cooperation allowing us to grow the business through new products and markets. The expertise of our employees in combination with the new investments gives us the necessary tools to continue to be a world-class manufacturer in our business segment” says Florim Mustafa, CEO at Spaljisten
