Doing the right things, right on time
Sustainability is something we hold close to heart at Spaljisten and since 2019 do we work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This work is integrated in all our stages of business, therefor are coworkers, customers and suppliers also a big part in our sustainability development. This is a story of how we care for Goal three - Good health and Well-being at Spaljisten.
VR (Virtual Reality) provides important decision support
This week, there were exciting things happening at our factory in Åseda. We had a VR presentation of a machine prototype for management, project group and mechanical engineers. We got the chance to have a seek peek of a brand new packing machine that would radically streamline our packing processes, which would mean that we can run much larger volumes on the same surface and increase our capacity. Even from a sustainability point of view, the machine delivers on top!
Right now we focus on a special area, a very important inspection function. The inspection shall ensure that the drill-holes taken for hinges in our kitchen and wardrobe fronts are always correct. A while ago, we introduced a simpler sensor system in a machine that will detect that the drill-holes exist, this after a much-appreciated improvement initiative from an employee.
Big plans for 2020
In order to achieve our ambitious goals for the year, we gathered the leaders of Spaljisten for a kickstart. Tobias Eklund from Hello Future held an excellent workshop and lecture on innovation trends in automation and digitalization.

Spaljisten’s contribution to sustainability
Sustainability and development are two concepts that are mentioned on a daily basis in the media as well as in conversations between people. But what are these and what do they have to do with Spaljisten? Everything we want to say - from the beginning to the end and everything in between. Here, CEO Florim Mustafa and Sustainability Manager Ermal Devce try to explain what sustainable development means to Spaljisten, the efforts we are making going forward, why we are doing them and how they manifest themselves.
Florim Mustafa new CEO of Spaljisten
On 1 February, Florim Mustafa took over as CEO of Spaljisten. Florim’s previous employer was PostNord Strålfors, where he was site manager. After four years, Niklas Lundin is leaving the role of CEO of Spaljisten to become CEO of Anebyhusgruppen AB, a company in the same group. In addition to his new position, Niklas will also join the board of Spaljisten.
A forward-looking sustainability manager
Ermal Devce joined Spaljisten as sustainability manager a little more than two weeks ago. He has already settled in and is happy with his new workplace.
